It's that voting time again
Dare I share thoughts with a friend?
Lost between the parties
NDP, Liberal, Green or Tories
Could we have a number system?
Then we wouldn't feel like victims
Choose only the points we like
Take away the platform fight
Governance with reason
Excellent way of pleasin
The population at large
The concepts would be in charge
Perhaps this inverted power
Would help our society flower
Reduce unwanted spending
Important matters we'd be tending
People could discuss with interest
Initiatives to make a difference
Keep in mind our constitution
Have less ignorance and delusion
Want voter turn out to be strong
A stage all parties can belong
Provide leadership with grace
Where we all can find our place
